Summer Travel Safety, Long-term Effects of COVID-19, Difference benefits between Caffeine and Sleep, and How Eating Out Can be Healthy…

Did you know that 67% of Americans are planning to travel during the summer? Keep yourself and others safe. It is mandatory to verify the countries restrictions and protocols before traveling. The recommendation is, Get Vaccinated, stay domestic, take a road trip, explore the outdoors, check travel restrictions, and keep up with COVID-19 safety precautions. Also consider checking out CDC recommendations here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-risk.html

Beware, although most people get better within weeks, some people experience long COVID-19 contagion. A wide range of symptoms can last weeks or months. A new study found that nearly a quarter of people who tested positive for COVID-19 sought medical treatment for new conditions at least 30 days post-infection. Some common symptoms of Long COVID-19 are fatigue, cough, body aches, loss of taste or smell, and shortness of breath.

Another topic presented in the newsletter is, what’s the best option, Caffeine or Sleep? Caffeine can help you get through the midday slump, but it isn’t a substitute for a good night’s sleep. Sleeping is needed to help repair body tissue and cleanse the brain of plaque build-up. Both are great options, but it depends on what your body needs.

The final topic was how eating out can be healthy even though it might seem impossible or expensive it remains an enjoyable experience when knowing what foods to avoid, and what foods to try.
