PACIV Awarded the 2019 CSIA Social Responsibility Award

PACIV was awarded the 2019 Social Responsibility Award by the Control Systems Integrators Association (CSIA). This award recognized the work done by PACIV during the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Each year, the CSIA recognizes a member that has achieved extraordinary results in corporate social responsibility and sustainability programs. The Award winner is recognized during the Awards Dinner at their annual Executive Conference. The PACIV Foundation pledged $1M, converting its engineering offices in San Juan to a Command Center, and assigning its staff, volunteers and vehicle fleet towards island recovery efforts. PACIV at the ISPE Ireland Annual Seminar

Recently, PACIV Ireland participated in the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Ireland Annual Seminar at Crowne Plaza Northwood in Dublin, Ireland. In this event PACIV had the opportunity to gain insight on the discussions of a variety of interesting topics relating to the future of manufacturing for life sciences including CAR-T facility design, MES, GAMP and Breakthrough Cancer Research. As an OSIsoft Partner, PACIV recently attended the OSIsoft Users Conference in San Francisco, CA from April 8-12, 2019. Jean Paul Pepin, Engineering Manager and Lester Cordero, Operations Leader both from PACIV-PR represented PACIV. The primary focal point of the conference was educating attendees on the PI System through user and partner presentations, hands-on laboratory trainings, and networking expos and events. PACIV recently attended the Job Expo Cork at the Clayton Hotel Silver Springs in Cork, Ireland in order to look for new and vibrant associate engineers to the PACIV team. Our HR/Administrator Lead, Geraldine Nolan and VP of Operations, Denis Gorey, attended the event to support in this effort and provided their experience at PACIV to potential recruits. 2018 PACIV Annual Meetings

Recently, PACIV held its 2018 Annual Meeting in all its offices to discuss industry context, strategic objectives and provide all the associates with the 2018 Year in Review as well as the 2019 Forecast, Insights and Objectives. Recently, PACIV Puerto Rico associates attended the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association’s (PRMA) first Health Industry Forum Conference as part of PACIV’s efforts to continue incorporating education to our associates. The event was held at the Hilton Condado Plaza in San Juan, Puerto Rico. OsiSoft PI Partner Certification Bootcamp

Yolanda Figueroa, Automation/Validation Engineer I from our PACIV Puerto Rico office, recently attended the OsiSoft PI Partner 4-Day Bootcamp, exclusively for OsiSoft Partners held in Houston, Texas. It was an intense accelerated course that exposed Yolanda to the workings of the PI System from a wide range of perspectives: implementation, administration, end user, and integration. In this Partner Bootcamp, conceived specially for partners, Yolanda had the opportunity to learn the basic technologies surrounding the PI System.
