A Message from Our President on Hurricane Maria’s 1st Anniversary
One year ago, at 6:15 a.m., Hurricane Maria made landfall on Puerto Rico. It has been a challenging year, but also it has been an amazing year.
On the one (1) year anniversary of Hurricane Maria striking Puerto Rico, I am so proud of the work that our PACIV associates have done to rebuild things personally and professionally, the work completed on Diego’s Project under the PACIV Foundation, and the tenacity and hard-work of our clients and the people in the Commonwealth.
Here is a look back at the work the PACIV Foundation performed (infographic to the right) and two articles about the aftermath and the road ahead for the Pharma industry in Puerto Rico: Puerto Rico Pharma: Battered but Unbroken and Think Strategically: The Unsung Story of Paciv Foundation.
I’m proud to be a part of an organization with its headquarters and roots in Puerto Rico. I’ve seen so many challenges, changes, and improvements over the last year, but I know there are still major opportunities and strides to be made. I look forward to continuing our work together at PACIV, and feel lucky to continue to get to go there regularly to work among our teams and clients.
¡Fuerza Puerto Rico!
Sincerely,
Rick Straw, President, PACIV
