Online Get Together-Let’s Chat!
PACIV Puerto Rico Associates have been sharing and having virtual meetings full of fun while maintaining social distancing through the Zoom platform. Playing games, chatting, and laughing are just a few of the benefits of getting together in these activities just before we leave for the weekend.
Even though the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting us all, PACIV associates want to take a moment to release stress and feel calm and happy, at least with these biweekly chats. PACIV Puerto Rico have organized with these themes like Get Together, having fun while sharing laughs and interesting stories that surface as we share a little bit of time together.
On April 9th, the online Get Together took place in the ZOOM platform, and it was costume themed. We started with a scavenger hunt with different things you could search at home. Then the final task was to dress with whatever costume you could come up with. There were tons of laughing when people started to run as soon as something was requested in the scavenger hunts. Creativity was put to the test to proclaim the best costume, while people were identifying what your outfit represented Plus, winners were given gift cards. The next Get Together, on April 24th, themed, “Tropical Party”, Piña Coladas were required for the attendance of this meeting. All had their tropical hats, sunglasses, and colorful flower blouses ready to have some fun.
These meetings helped us to distract ourselves from all the tension and to have a good time while staying closer as a team. These moments laughing, making jokes, and even singing, are the moments that alleviates us and motivates us to keep going because our work is making a difference.
